Congressional Accountability Pledge

As a member of Congress, I pledge to serve and be accountable to the American people by providing a deep commitment to putting the needs of others first and improving interpersonal relationships that motivate and inspire positivity amongst all members of Congress, regardless of party affiliation.

As a member of Congress, I pledge to develop a stronger awareness and understanding of my thoughts, which can lead to behaviors and actions that could be viewed as selfish, critical and destructive.  Each day I will take concrete steps to foster moral prosperity, spread acts of kindness, foster respect and spread goodwill amongst all people, including all members of Congress.

As a member of Congress, I pledge to take the lead in implementing the Give a Damn philosophy as a way of serving the American public and to do so collectively without ego, criticism, condemning or complaining.  I pledge to carry out my duties of responsibility and accountability as a true public servant by serving the best interests of the majority of the American people at all times. 

Finally, as a member of Congress, I FULLY pledge to carry out the principles of the Give A Damn philosophy each and every day to the best of my ability.
